You don’t need a degree for a Pharmacy Tech job. You can apply at any Pharmacy with an opening.

CVS near me is always hiring. No experience needed it says.

I know few people who works as techs and they earn a small hourly wage, but its a good step towards becoming a real pharmacist.

The pharmacy techs in our hospital had to go to school to get their license. It would probably be a good idea to call a local college and find out if any of the courses you’re taking now can be put toward the pharmacy tech program. Lots of luck-it’s a great job.

    there are two ways
    1. attent a pharmacy tech course and get a licence. it cost more. but easy to finish.
    2. buy a pharmacy tech book and study and take the test. visit

if you already have your associates, maybe you should just check the requirements of the course description. chances are you have already fulfilled most of the requirements, minus a few specifics.

I got mine right after HS, you can either take a class then take the test. Or get a good study book from barnes and nobles and study that, then sign up for a PCTB test and take it.

Also look into your local states requirments, at least in my state you need national and state certification, to be allowed to work in the pharmacy. They will also drug test you before letting you start work!

Your best bet is to get hired somewhere with a pharmacy like CVS/grocery store, then ask to get switched into the pharmacy test and you employer will pay for all of your testing/training!
