How much is the average pay for a Pharmacy Technician in CA?

I have a 4 year experience working at a pharmacy. It was a private family own pharmacy. I was hired as a Clerk but 3 months later I was working in the back as a technician. I never further my education in getting certified. Now I am thinking of taking the PTCB exam and getting certified but don’t want to work at the phamacy where I was working at before.
